Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney born Amal Ramzi Alamuddin is an English-Lebanese barrister, human rights activist, philanthropist and human rights advocate. Graduate of Oxford University School of Law, and New York University School of Law. Amal Clooney has an extensive and long-running profession as an internationally renowned lawyer and philanthropist. The most prominent clients she worked with were nations like Armenia that was battling to recognize the Armenian Genocide in Turkey. Amal Clooney got engaged to American actor George Clooney to marry him in 2014, and instantly became an iconic name in pop media. Before that, she'd established herself as a household name within the legal community for her ability to represent clients. The scope of her work spans from dealing with social justice and human rights issues to representing several multinational corporations in their negotiation and court cases concerning government regulations. From 2015 onwards she served as a barrister at British Court within Doughty Street Chambers.
